This is Panasonic's top of the line Flagship LED LCD HDTV for 2012 and comes with many great features and has good reviews. Most of the complaints complaints against this TV are quality related. If you order this TV, wait for Whiteglove service to set it up and if you find any issues, refuse to accept the shipment. Pauls TV also has a 30 day return/exchange policy as well as 30 day price guarantee.
This TV uses Active 3D technology. Glasses are NOT included with the TV so you have to buy compatible Active 3D glasses if you want to enjoy 3D content on this TV. This TV uses RF/BT signal for syncing the glasses instead of IR so line of sight is not required. This also means you will not be able to use old IR based 3D Glasses with this TV.
I got a pair of Samsung SSG-4100GB 3D Active Glasses because I read they were compatible with this TV. THEY ARE! These go for less than $20 a piece on Amazon [amazon.com]. They may not be the best RF 3D glasses in town but they do the job. Hopefully, the rechargeable OEM 3D glasses will come down in price soon.
