Thanks! I love Target and I had never heard of this app before!

Now, how does this sh!t work again?

I emailed support about the malfunctioning transmitter at my local Target. Shopkick replied that they are aware that it does not work and that too bad, I cannot get the credit....ugh I gotta now find a store with a working transmitter? sad

Has anyone had any spam texts since signing up for this? Shortly after I entered my number I got 2 texts.

One from 265019 that says AIM TXT: You have received a txt from an AOL/AIM user. To block this user, reply 'block'. Reply 'help' for more options.

I then got one from 265060 that says Kdelara Sanderford (IM): Congratulations! Your moblike is First! Visit http://GetTargetGiftCard.info and get your F_R_E_E card. (Reply 'block' to stop this user).

I've not signed my number up to anything else.

That sucks!! Which Target is this? I'm having problems with Alhambra Target. I don't know if its the transmitter, but the app keeps shutting down on me.

Northern California, SF East Bay Store. It seems to have gotten fixed, I got shopkicks this Saturday. Maybe its the app, because the transmitter just sends a sound that the app can hear.

You look in the app and at the bottom it has find kicks waiting nearby. If you are referring to what retailers do shopkick, use the find shopkick function and you will see them. It will tell you if the one near you has shopkick transmitters. If you are referring to the Target gift card, I would also use the find kicks waiting nearby to see which Targets have shopkick transmitters and I am guessing those will give you the $2 gift cards.
