I'll be the stupid one here and ask what people are referring to regarding streaming off of Amazon? Does Amazon have some kinda new Hulu/Netflix type of setup or what exactly are people streaming off of Amazon and costs for it?

Sony BR players have very nice DLNA support, I believe better than Panasonic. Not sure about LG. Sony also has a rebranded DLNA server called HomeStream (it's a rebranded Serviio).

to me, most important thing is ROKU blocks international channels these days after getting into the agreement with dish network. Sony supports YUPTV which brings in the indian channels for just $10 a month as oppose to dish $29 a month. Last edited by yogeshsr; 01-04-2013 at 04:50 PM.. |

Bought the BDP-S590 at Sony on sale recently, plus HDMI cable for AMEX $25 back with $100 plus purchase, but this deal looks even better.

Thanks for the heads up regarding the Amazon video. I've had the player sitting in a box since the Crutchfield deal and generally use my PC for looking at anything, but it's nice to know there's another use for this player.
