Why do you think you or your opinion is so important you have to shout it in the wiki?
Thanks for deleting it from the WiKi. I was contemplating on doing that myself.

tpb? The Pirate Bay?
Even if the copy is legit, don't you still have to pay to file?

This promo offer includes 5 federal e-files and 1 state e-file and 1 free professional tax advice as part of the purchase...
Do they give advice on off-shore accounts? LMAO

Are you sure about the state eFile? They almost never have free state efiles.

no scanner in the world can catch a lines of code which have been just written. Unless this file is reported to the scanning companies, the whole cycle takes at least 8-10 hours. how would virtual box help, if someone just needs personal information and your SSN .
Ok. So WAIT 10 days and then scan the file. What am I missing apart from apparent paranoia?

any sound person will stay away from this. you never know what op has left in there.

I dont think a SD member with such reputation will try to do that. But we can always scan it. I think he is trying to just share what he got.

Agree - this includes one free state form, not the efile itself. Efiling costs $$ for some states.

EDIT: For the Deluxe+State or Premium+State.

To write line of code in the HR block software don't we need to reverse engineer the code, set the project, find the right place to put it and test it and then make the iso? If that is so easy, people will then start changing the code so that they can file the taxes for free right?

It seems PC only. When I open it in Mac, it asked me to purchase online.

According to the jacket 2/11/2013, I think this is purchase by date only and not
filing date. I already purchased the deluxe+state and was charged 9.95+tax.

Oops you are right, its one state program for free not efile.

How exactly do you think they're going to get someone's SSN? You buy and download the software from H&R Block, who do actually record your SSN and send it to the IRS, but I guess you think that's not ok laugh out loud

It might be an idea to contact them and ask if you can get the deal for the mac or swap over the PC version for the Mac version.

OP, perhaps you can post a MD5 or a SHA hash key to cross check a clean download? Just a thought. My download just finished and I will be using this in my back pocket in hopes of a better deal along the way. Smilie Thanks

No, when you click on purchase in the Mac application it says $59 for premium, for example.
