how's dealing with wal-mart online/e-mail customer service if some of my items arrive broken?

if anyone was wondering, the starbucks gift sets i purchased when it was 50% arrived in great condition. they actually did a really good job in packing in tons of plastic air bags to make it stay in place. even the dog toy i ordered as a filler for free shipping arrived in its own huge box with tons of paper stuffing to make sure the throwing around of the boxes doesn't damage the tiny chew toy that was later tore up by my dog in under 10 mins. thanks walmart.

Yes, I called up my local Walmart and they did say they marked everything down to 75% off. So, I shot right over there and got some of the good stuff that was still left at about 9:30 this morning! They still had the 50% off signs up! So it didn't attract too many shoppers! I managed to get a radio controlled Lalaloopsy for only 10 bucks that wasn't Xmas but in that aisle! 60 bucks for 43 items isn't too bad!

I think last year they did the mark down on January 4th or 5th. I had a receipt from the 5th. I had purchased some of those Hallmark recordable books for 4.97 each. Well, I didn't know my daughter already had one and my nephew too so I returned 3 different ones, I tried to give them my receipt to return it right before Xmas and they wouldn't accept it!! (receipt was over 90 days old) Well to make a long story short before I could argue about them not accepting my receipt They actually gave me 59.02 in store credit for something I paid a total of about 15 bucks for!!

Just got back from my store in SLC, where everything is 75% off already as well. Picked up some starbucks gift sets, hard candy shower set, and my mom picked up a tree and some trimmings. Be wary about ordering the ornaments, as they are CRAZY fragile. We had one in our sight the entire time and somehow broke one of them in the set just while checking out.

ALSO, if you're perusing the rest of the store, keep your eyes peeled for other christmas style items, which will probably ring up as 75% off without being marked. I picked up a really cute rudolph bath robe for $4, perfect for kids or teen girls.

The Hersey's S'mores with the cool mugs are back in stock. I picked up 2 yesterday. They look to be the best mugs of the bunch IMO.

they eventually did it for me after i gave them the link to this thread.

Yesterday I bought the 15oz holiday candles for 99 cents - winter berries , mulberry and sugar cookies , etc . I figure the mulberry can be gifted for any season and it smells amazing . I also got fleecy pj bottoms for $1.99 for self and other . There were some flannel Hanes boxers in a 2pk gift set maked down to $1.99 so grabbed some for my son and cousin's teeanger . Found little girls seasonal tops and pjs marked down to $1.25 and a cute Halloween top for $1.00 . Got a poinsettia throw blanket for $1.25 and a 14 pk or red, white and green washcloths ( all solid colors, not striped ) for $1.00 . Gor much of my shopping done for next year - now I have to keep a computerized list of what I bought and where I stored it -that 's the biggest dilemma in a crowded 1000 sq ft house with little closet space . lol
