It ain't the same software. Even if it's good, I like that Turbotax reloads all my info from last year's return.

Up to you, but you're paying more. 95 cents is a lot better than paying $40 for the same software. I've used it for the last couple years and have had no problem whatsoever.

You can do the same with HR Block...it can load my return from last year. Unless you've been using TurboTax, then that's up to you.

Yeah, but there are some out there who've never done tax refunds before and don't mind which software they use...

Most of them don't even read through the thread. If TurboTax is better, it's not $40 better vs. 95 cents on HR Block. Definitely not worth the difference in cost.

Log on to statefarm.com, and look for a link on the right. Basic and Deluxe are $20, Premier is $35.

That's what I mean, I'd have to re-enter all the crap if I switched. I think Turbotax is great, for something that's such a pain in the ass (taxes), I've no reason to switch.

So the Costco deal can be beat by doing a price match with Staples and using their coupons? I hear the coupons are much harder to 'buy' now.

Just looked up deal for Vanguard users for turbotax, it really isn't that great if you are not a Flagship account holder and just have a roth / ira or other account - https://personal.vanguard.com/us/...i/turbotax ($50 for deluxe version)
