good deal. I bought a couple 25$ for 4$. I must spend 35 which isnt hard so Ill basically have a 21$ discount to our bill. Dinner for 2 = roughly 40$ minus the 25$ = 15$ plus tip 8$ plus 4$ for coupon = 27$. Dinner for 2 at a nice restaurant for 13.50 each? good deal seeing you can spend that at a shitty Fridays or Chilies for burger and fries.

Gift certificate only valid if printed on 8x14 paper, 50$ minimum, no split checks, doesn't include alcohol, not valid on days that end in the letter "y"...

Wow, haven't seen these in awhile, but $4 is expensive... I might have to buy a few though...

I know these deals get hammered on every time they are posted but I would like to share my experience. My wife and I got a free $15 one to a local restaurant. We had to spend $22.50 at the restaurant to make it valid. We spent around $26. When we got the bill they added $5.95 for gratuity and another $5.95 for "Convince Fee". We have gone to this restaurant on multiple occasions previously and never had any of those fees. If the certificate costs anything, you would be looking at a wash anyway. I've read it before; It's not a good deal.

CONVENIENCE fee? really? You should have called the police.

Don't enter the promo code on the main search page that lists all the restaurants. Discount will show as invalid.

Enter it at checkout after you added the gift card/coupons to your cart.

For $4 it is not the best deal, but your experience is not a typical experience. I've used these very many times and I've never been charged a convenience fee. And the gratuity added should be 18% of the original bill, which is the least I would tip anyway. If you got charged more than that, plus a convenience fee, then you need to contact restaurant.com about that.
When these are cheaper ($2 for the $25 certs) they are a good deal. The problem is, the $25 GC used to have a $35 minimum purchase, now most of them are a $50 minimum purchase. Plus a lot of restaurants that participate in this lose a lot of money. A lot of these restaurants tend to go out of business (at least in my area). Not saying Restaurant.com is the reason, but I've seen more of them go out of business than thrive once they've listed their business on that site.

whats with the "minimum purchase of" requirements tho. almost seems to cancel out the coupon unless your planning to feed a family of 8....

edit: some restaurants have lower minimums than others.

don't they have those for $2 anymore? I even got them for $1 a couple of times (90% off)...
