What is the resolution of this screen? I didn't see it listed on Newegg.com. If it's 1366x768 I'll pass, but if it were 1600x900 I'd definitely be in.

Still a pretty good deal for some light gaming, might pick one up.

Thanks for that. It's frustrating how hard it is to find affordable 15.6" laptops with 1600x900 or better.

I snagged a refurbished 14" version of this without dedicated graphics. Installed a 128gb SSD from a fp deal and it screams.

Great lappy for me. Keyboard is nice, trackpad is great with some settings adjusted. (Gf can't stand tap to click)

I haven't seen anything in this price range that is 1600x900. Not yet at least.

Well.. Blackfriday DID have the G780 which was basically THIS laptop but on a 17.3' screen.. It was $550 as well, but the screen felt flimsey.. Bases off of Newegg Reviews..

I have yet to see a Lenovo consumer-class machine with anything but 1366x768 or 1920x1080 screens. There are some business line laptops with 1600x900, but integrated graphics. It's crazy that Lenovo has so many different models in the marketplace right now, but they're all more or less clones of each other. If it normally retails for $800 or less you're looking at 1366x768, more than that and there's usually a 1920x1080 option if not standard.

It depends on what your definition of "affordable" is. Every once in awhile you'll get a Y580 for $850 or so with a nice screen, but it's so big and heavy that it can double as a boat anchor. Samsung Series 7 Chronos is available for $1000 (regular price) with a 1600x900 screen. Only issue is that at that price it should be 1080p.

Bench mark for both i5 3210M and NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M are good. GT 635 is best go with 1366x768 setting for gaming, So there is no need for 1600x900. Best price for this config. I ripped one for me.
