Well if it really will be Halo 4 for $20AR, Best Buy is still taking these in on trade for $30. Who knows if they will be doing that by the time TD gets one to you though....

I can't imagine anyone thinking this isn't a great game. I haven't played Halo in about 4 years (Halo 3). I have ODST and Reach, but haven't even played them. Wasn't really interested in Halo 4, even, but got it as a Christmas present. But the graphics and control are just amazing. The way the guns shoot, the aiming... everything has just been honed to perfection. I'm on Mission 6 of 8, and I haven't gotten bored with the game. A good player can get through the Campaign in about 9 hours on Normal, though.

It looks like cheapo economy shipping is $4 (at least, to Rhode Island).

Might have to jump on this, even though I have a bit of a backlog...

Rebates, like to say that they did not receive your invoice, then give you 15 short days to get the invoice to them with the cost of another stamp.

Usually consumers don't mail things a second time, and they try to bank on that!

It's not a bad game but not an 87/100 either, metacritic can't be trusted on AAA games. The big enthusiast reviewers are in thrall to developers and publishers and generally won't risk losing their access.

As to the game, I mostly enjoyed single player but multiplayer is just ok...there is no rocket race like in Halo 3, and no Firefight like in Reach. Spartan Ops got boring fast and I don't like regular multiplayer. So I played for about two weeks then moved on, this from a person who played 3 for three years and Reach for two.

$20 is a good price though, and many people will find something they'll like in multiplayer.

Man... deals like this make me think I should never preorder a game again. This game and Black Ops 2 has shot down in price so fast. Anyway, nice find OP...
