Great shelf for certain applications.. only thing is the shelves aren't height adjustable... so if you are putting say paint cans and such on one shelf you loose alot of space between them and the next one... sure you can put them into a plastic tote.. but you end up buying the tote as well (extra money) and then a plastic tote full of cans isn't exactly light.

Only found these to be good for items which you can stack or for putting complete totes on that are full of other light stuff so you can manage the tote.. otherwise alot of deadspace in the tote.

Found it wiser in the long run to go with the wire mesh shelves (forget the name but lowes, HD, walmart, target all carry the same ones) which you can adjust up and down in height in near inch increments for the long term investment.
