Was going to try not to be THAT guy, but I'm going to strongly disagree. I use the Magnums and have never had one break. I used to use regular sized various brands, and couldn't figure out why they were breaking so often, I thought that was just normal. Apparently I'm a bit better than average, and that was the culprit. While I would gladly try a different brand, I have had too many experiences with "normal" condoms to make me think that it would be a good, safe alternative.

I don't think I've heard anyone say Trojenz are the worst though, that's silly-talk. I got 36 Magnums for under $10, and that was a deal I was thrilled with. Condoms are a tool, so if one is performing its intended function, and another isn't, then I'm going with the one that works. I'm sure different people are built differently, but Magnums are the only brand I've been satisfied with, and I'm not trying to have a couple more kids while I explore to find an alternative.

Yes, "the condom industry" LOL I'm in the internet fact-checking industry and want to tell you that you are incorrect. I used to think that as you do but after trying the larger condoms have found they are much more comfortable.

I guess it is personal preference when it comes to items like this, but for me it just wasn't a fit. haha.

1. These condoms are definitely smaller than typical condoms by trojan or durex. I actually found that the base was especially tight and it made sex less pleasurable than with other condoms.

2. I'm not sure if there are stats about the condom to substantiate this or not, but it feels "heavier" than condoms by durex and trojan that I was used to. It seems like a bit of a thicker condom, although this might just have to do with it being slightly smaller. Either way it certainly desensitized sex for me.

3. They are definitely less lubricated than the average trojan or durex condom. Sure it shouldn't be a problem if your actually turning your girl on and get her dripping (as opposed to straight frastar fingerbanging her and thinking your turning her on) but I found that during longer sex sessions (between 45 minutes and 1hr long) it got to a point where other condoms have been fine but using crown I have to add my own lubricant.

I've only used them because my college health center has them and I filled a paper baggie full of condoms (its like a goody bag haha) and after using all of the more familiar brands, I was left with crown and seven. I used seven and one of them BROKE on me so I didn't fark with them ever again. I used crown before restocking my reserve and just didn't enjoy them.

yeah i don't know why this is always touted as the best condom. bought a bunch of them and they were tight, lacked lube, and just didn't feel that great. i ended up just using the beyond sevens that the ucla health center gave out for free. actually prefer those to durex/trojan/lifestyles. go figure.

Um, no. well, not exactly anyways (unless you're speaking length) the main difference is width at the head of the condom:

Beyond Seven / beyond seven studded:
Length: 7.64″/194mm

Trojan ENZ:

The crown's are a bit smaller than the Beyond Sevens which are also a hair's breadth away from the trojan enz. Unless I'm really excited I prefer the beyond sevens that are studded (else annoyingly magnums, which are hard to get < 50c a pop), but I like a tight fit. I used to be a fan of durex, but after breaking too many I switched to beyond sevens which are usually ~19c per condom on amazon (to which I add silicone lube as really I prefer to add my own lube as different situations call for different things )

I *really* advise against durex if you're... um.... energetic. But you know, different strokes for different folks.
