Pilot is supposed to deliver my ST50 today. Hoping the box doesnt come in a bad shape since its raining here. Anybody know if they would be willing to carry it up to second floor in house. Could be a liability issue for them?
Its a pretty heavy box and I am not sure I can assemble my family members for this task.
Second question is what are the immediate checks which are needed. I have heard people complaining about Pilot's delivery.
Are folks still running the 100-200 hour slideshow or it that an old wives tale?
For folks who had this delivered, was this ground level/threshold freight delivery or did the guys bring it into the home. I have this scheduled for an office and hoping they'll carry it up the freight elevator into the premise.
Do yourself a favor and make sure they at least un box it before they leave so you can check the screen for damage
Ordered one from Amazon with their "white glove delivery service". Box looked fine but when they opened it up - screen was cracked. Refused delivery on the spot and they took it back with them
Can I do this since it is not "white glove delivery service"? I thought they just take your signature and leave. I was under the impression that they wouldnt wait for me to open the box and inspect the TV. This is the first time I am ordering a TV online so I am not sure.
And worst case scenario, lets say there is some damage, what do I do about it?
