I would avoid this model. I had it and it went bad after a year. The port is rather weak if you ask me. The drive no longer spins up and I believe it is a faulty port since I used another cable to connect it. It does not even show up in disk manager....
The 500GB USB 3.0 HDDs I got for $27 are different models and they work fine.... I have 3 right next to me on different types (Fat 32, NTFS, and exfat)
