Did a search and couldn't find related info.

Look for the 3rd item for performance internet on the page above. This is for existing customers, NOT new customers.

You need to pay a one-time "installation kit" shipping fee of $10 by ordering online (not sure if you can get it waived by calling CS) but I was able to place the order. I am paying $49/mo for internet and paying $10 to save $30/mo is a good deal.

The T&C specifies if you don't cancel, Month 7-12 will be $34.99 and then regular pricing follows.

This deal is only available to customers with TV services.

I am living in metro-philly area. Perhaps YMMV.

OUCH! I pay the full rate on my Comcast/Xfinity cable internet of $64/mo and my full HD package with DirecTV is only $45 for 1st year, $63 for second year and like $85 after that.
Well, phone service is included in my bundle too. (still overpriced, I know....)

No go.
Fine print, chat rep, phone, all said the same: must pay full price for cable TV or phone.

So you had Comcast TV and internet already and were able to get in on this internet deal. did you have to cancel your old internet before you got in on this?

Please confirm.

What if we cancel the cable service after getting the 19.99 bundle deal...

Comcast is a f@cking joke. I call in to try to cancel service earlier in the day and it takes 45 minutes before someone picks up. Someone finally picks up, says their salutation, then hangs up. Call back...another 45 minutes...ask about promos and am told to use online chat. Use online chat just now and am told they can only add additional services, they cannot change promos of additional services and they tell me to call in. Call the number and get to change/downgrade option and am prompted that this department is closed. Call back and choose add services this time and wait time is less than 1 minute. If it wasn't for their basic monopoly in many places they would probably be out of business. This is why their customer services is a perennial bottom feeder on all rankings.

I got this deal a couple days ago - 19.99 for internet and 39.99 for tv. My last promo just ended and I spoke to a rep online and they lowered my price (my new rate would have been 74.95 for TV and 51.95 for internet if I didn't do anything). I'm in South Jersey, Philly suburbs. Didn't have to cancel service or anything, I just asked for any promos to help me lower my bill.

Comcast stinks! I called in October 2013 to see about keeping my $19.99 rate and they told me my contract does not expire until January 2014. It is too early for me to call them. So I called again in November...still too early. I called again at the end of November and I was told that I had a 2-yr contract and that my rate of $19.99/mth would be good until January 2015. I should not have trusted that representative. I should have called back again to confirm this. I received my bill of $34.99 this past weekend. Good thing I actually read the statement instead of going into autopilot with paying and filing. I called this morning and after repeatedly being reassured, by two different representatives, that I am getting a really good rate, they finally granted my request and cancelled my service. However, I still need to pay for 10 more days because they need 10 days notice for a cancellation. Which I would have provided if I had realized the representative in November LIED to me about my having a 2 year contract.

I know what I want and I know what I am willing to pay...yet they tried to manipulate me into retaining their service. NOT!
