Factory Refurbished........blah

Good reviews overall....must note it is a factory refurbished (not sure if most things on that website are FR)

I have a set of the wired ones that were factory refurbished and they work just fine, no complaints. Often, refurbs are just returns where someone opened the box and they got repackaged.

Can't speak to this particular model, just saying - refurb doesn't always spell bad news.

Got the refub'd X41s last time from this place - about yr ago...still work fine.

Man these are tempting. Anybody else have experience with 1saleaday.com?

I'm thinking about picking these up to just use to watch netflix off my ps3. I've heard good things but was planning on getting the pulse elite headset but my end up with these due to the price. Anyone know if these are better or worse than the Sony Pulse Elite headphones?

They are good quality wireless headset although TB has a newer model out now. These X41s tend to get static and pop noise on them from time to time but I think this has to do with rf interference from other 2.4 GHz devices. I use them on XBOX 360 and the typical range I get is about 12-15 feet from the receiver. From an aural perspective the X41s are a huge difference over the generic wired headset you mention. If you play something like COD, you'll definitely hear more of the game sounds and actually may give you an advantage in multiplayer game mode. You'll hear the faintest of footsteps that come towards you. Invest in some rechargeable AAA batteries and you should be good.
