The prices usually update sometime within the 5 AM to 6 AM EST time frame.

Sometimes it can happen exactly at 5 AM, other times it can take a bit longer.

The shipping is always outrageous, but you can lighten the load if you don't mind doing some FAR software rebates. Adding them to your cart gives you a "shipping discount."

If there are any product limits, it's best to order as soon as the price updates because those limits will not be in place.

For example, they have 5 packs of Sony BD-Rs for $0.49 this week. There's supposed to be a limit of 5 per person.

If you place the order as soon as the price updates, no limits are in place and you can order as many as you want.

$0.10 per disc is pretty good, especially for Sony media. The only thing that sucks is:
1) They are DVD-R's and not DVD+R's
2) No Free Shipping
3) No Spindles for storage

dont buy any of this bullshit.. the wipes i bought are completely dry.. fark these wipes and i have 2 of them!!!!!!!. i guess just fork over some money and use a 5 off 25 at staples for a few cases of clorox wipes

and isnt horntekk the worst rebate company out there?. a person that says nah i dont think so lol from what i read....

I got two $1.99 AR Hornetek external enclosures from MicroCenter a while back and they did end up fulfilling both of my rebates. I mean, it took like 5 months, but I did get the checks.

As for the wipes, yeah... a lot of times are dried up. I think these should be okay though because they ran out of stock on these since they were on a previous FAR deal around Black Friday. They had to get new ones in and they probably are still wet/moist.

The last ones I got actually had like a date from 2011 or something on the package. No wonder they were all dried out. Clorox or Lysol wipes are definitely the best though.... and they actually had a "Try-Me Free" rebate on the Lysol ones through 12-31-12. (THREAD)

Most of the other items are crappy though.

I wouldn't advise ordering the iPad Case For Shipping.

The Rebate Form has to be postmarked by Jan. 11th, 2013.

youre a trooper mr td i havent done any more rebates the one im really falling behind is the one you posted for the toaster! i need to submit and do the rebate thing before i miss the window and it expires. Im not as on top of it as i used to be with the whole rebates deal. at this point i dont even care if its free. My recent move just made me realize i have soooo much shit that i really really analyze if its something needed ok. like i filled one farkin shelf of free anti virus!!!!!!! thats like 30+ boxes and man what a waste! got over 100+ reams of paper too haha insane! all the free photo paper and shit liek that got tossed in the dumptser. not like i was going to use it with the laser printer.

You should just throw away all the software boxes and consolidate it down to the manual and product CD. Then, cut off any proofs of purchases or UPCs (you never know when you might need one) and put them in an envelope or one of those plastic baggies.

That's what I usually do... unless I plan on re-selling the software, which usually takes too much time for how much it pays out.

I'm pretty on top of my rebates. I only have 14 or so left to finish up. Most of them involve stuff on back-order from Fry's or TigerDirect... so I'm just waiting on the UPCs to send them out.

The toaster is kind of a POS. The steam iron actually works okay. I sent both of those rebates in on 12/22/12 and I just got the e-mail that my documentation was received yesterday.

Yes, I was sent a $25 off $75 coupon to my e-mail.

So, basically, the paper costs $49.99 with a $30 Staples Easy Rebate.

I'm adding a $25 Gift Card, which the coupon appears to work on, and a small filler ($0.79 padded mailer) to get over the $75 mark.

So, in essence:
$75.77 - $25 Coupon - $30 SER = $20.77 + tax for a $25 Gift Card

I will also get 10% back in Staples Rewards for the paper purchase, so it ends up being a pretty good deal.

Not everyone has a $25 off $75 coupon though (which is why I didn't post it), since they are hard to come by these days.

I haven't purchased these wipes but a similar one in Fry's and they are pretty dry. I'd say stay away. In fact a lot of these things look pretty cheap. The ipad case and card reader might be the only things worth it.

And good advice on only getting things you might use. Don't buy just because it's FAR if you aren't going to use it. It just takes up landfill. Bad for the environment, etc.

I agree, for the most part. Usually I find a way to convince myself into buying FAR stuff though.

In recent weeks I was getting very cheap (or even free) shipping when ordering a bunch of items together. Today it is trying to charge me $19+ for shipping now matter how many or few items I have in my cart.

Edit: The Inland Wipes seem to be causing the problem. I took them out of my cart and shipping is cheap now.
