My current Logitech 550 may need replacing soon....... this looks like a nice remote, but the 5 device limitation that Logitech introduced for the 600 is a real deal breaker for me.

Ironically, I would prefer this remote over the 650 and 700 since I'm not a fan of cradles or color displays that drain the batteries too fast. So Logitech doesn't really have anything to suite me with their current line up.............

Great deal. I'm in for two. This is the best deal I've seen on a non refurbished unit. Yes Sears has the 700 listed for 39.99, butt, that deal is no where to be found. Thanks OP, I was going to settle on the stripped down Harmony 300 until this deal came up.

In for one. Was thinking about two, but since this is my first one, I figure I'll see how it goes and if it does what I need. My 18 month old ruined the original Onkyo remote, and I've been wanting to replace 3 or 4 remotes with just one anyway.

This remote is good. The internals are upgraded from the 550/One. This remote "feels" quicker on button presses then older 550/One. First sign of updated internals is micro-usb port versus mini.

If you upgrade your remote you can keep as many devices as you had on your old remote.

love my cradle (it's a no brainer - set it in and it charges) - and my color screen lasts a long time even out of the cradle.

Hmmm... I have a 550 that still works but half the buttons have been rubbed clear of labels by now. Doesn't bother me or the Mrs much as we know what the buttons do, but when other people look at the remote they just stare at it....

I agree. The Harmony One is the best remote that I have ever owned and this is my third different Harmony.

I got it for 30$ new from Radio Shack on 2011 BF. I believe they had the same deal on last BF as well. It has been pretty solid for me. I only changed 2 AA batteries once in last 14 months. I have a toddler who dropped it few times on the carpet and it survived well.

There's gotta be a way to hack it [in my mind] to add more devices because my 650 I didn't realize had a device limitation and I added seven (the first time) I believe and it worked fine, but then I started messing with stuff and it limited it the second time I sync'd.

My biggest gripe about this remote is that with the shape of the remote and placement of the number keys, it's harder to type numbers then my other harmony remotes. An annoyance that shouldn't be there in an expensive universal remote.
