SOLD OUT (all links, including the link below)

Thank you for your purchase!

We are truly sorry for any delays. Not that we're complaining, but KSL Deals usually stays pretty local and we were not expecting this deal to go national *cough* slickdeals *cough*

To those who ordered 1 of each (Hulu & Netflix), you might receive only one gift card in your first email. You may also receive the 1 year in the form of 2X 6-Month Gift Cards. Don't worry, the others are on their way and we're filling orders as fast as we can (Due to some initial technical problems, we're having to send these out manually.) We are trying our best to fill all orders within the 7-10 business days as stated in the deal description and still feel it is very possible. However, due to the massive demand, please understand if we go a couple days past! Thank you for your patience!
Deseret News Deals customer service

ATTN: KSL & Deseret Deals Hulu/Netflix Deal Buyers

If you've already received your gift card(s), you can disregard this email.

As we're sure most have noticed, it is taking a bit longer to fulfill all the orders than expected. The estimated 7-10 days was written on the ad before the deal went viral and oversold by a longshot. The deal was supposed to run for 2 weeks...we had to shut er' down in 2 hours (Think it's called the Slickdeals Effect?). There were also a few technical hiccups that are forcing us to gather all gift card requests, match up all deals sold, buyer's info, voucher code, and gift card requested manually and send them out. No doubt - it definitely could have gone smoother and we apologize for any inconvenience and delays you might have experienced. Next time, we'll just supply KSL/Deseret with the gift codes and you'll receive them instantly. Why that didn't happen this time? We're kicking ourselves wondering why too. We truly do appreciate your patience putting up with amatuers.

Just to clear some things up from questions asked:

1. The KSL/Deseret voucher code is NOT the gift card code and will NOT redeem on Hulu or Netflix.
You will receive a separate email with the subject "Your Netflix or Hulu eGift Card from KSL / Deseret News Deals!" from this email "ksldealredemption@gmail.com".
Attached will be a .PDF file with your eGift card. There is a 12 digit code in the form of XXXX-XXXX-XXXX that you will redeem in Hulu or Netflix.
2. If you don't receive your entire order at once (2 or more gift cards), don't worry - you will receive your entire order. You just might get a separate email with the additional gift cards ordered later on.
3. Though the KSL Voucher Code expires Dec. 2013, the Netflix and Hulu ones do not. Your purchased year of service begins the day you redeem the code and expires a year from that date.
4. Due to the unexpected demand and supply flow restrictions, we're needing to extend the delivery deadline to January 23, 2012. We feel most will get there gift cards well BEFORE that, but just to be safe we have set this date as our new deadline.
If you have not received your gift card by January 23, 2013 - please contact us ASAP and we will look into it and get you taken care of.
if you do not wish to wait any longer, please contact KSL or Deseret Deals for a full refund.
Hopefully this answers any questions you may have. The more time we can spend sending out orders vs replying to hundreds of the same "Where's my order?" emails, the faster we can get your order fulfilled.
However, if you do have further questions, feel free to reply to this email and we'll reply as fast as we can.

We don't want to cancel orders and believe all can be fulfilled. It's just going to take a bit longer than expected. We appreciate your patience and again, please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

We're pushing through the carpal tunnel to get you taken care of ASAP!

•Purchased voucher is valid starting January 4, 2013
•Purchased voucher expires on December 31, 2013

Earlier in the thread they said they turned to open market for their codes and it turns out some of those people either purchased them with bad accounts or did charge backs etc...

I don't see the problem... I paid $67 for a year (normally 95.88... $28.88 savings). The $67 was refunded in January. They just turned off my Netflix yesterday, so I got about three months free ($23.97 value).

So in all... I didn't save $4.91 for something I was going to buy anyways. In turn, I received the ~$24 savings upfront with no commitment? I think it was still a win.

As a followup to my previous post, just wanted to update for anyone else that may have gotten the shaft in the same way I did.

I thought I had things sorted out at the beginning of February. I reinstated my Netflix acct online and got a refund from AMEX because I disputed the charge. I had a netflix acct before this fiasco and had just paid for a month of service when the whole gift card crap happened. Lost the credit for about half of that paid month when I restarted my Netflix account online, but it was less than $5 so I wasn't about to waste any more time on the phone.

Got a second Netflix cancellation email today, about a month and a half after everything was supposed to be sorted out. My account was closed again, and I just paid for a month's service on March 2. Just spent 30 minutes on the phone with a CSR who didn't quite get exactly how I was losing money by not getting a full month's worth of service for a full month's payment. Twice. She wanted to close my account permanently and open a new account, not only failing to compensate me for lost credit but also losing my viewing history, ratings, genre preferences etc. from the past ten years of being a Netflix customer.

Finally somebody that she was talking to on her end(someone more technical or more empowered, I assume) was able to get my account reinstated with credit for one month from now, so at least I end up practically not losing any money (just a few days loss of service from the change in billing periods and lost service from my account being down). I just wish it didn't take multiple phone calls, frustrating CSR conversations, and multiple service outages to get to that point. I also have no idea if this is going to happen again.

I remember when Netflix had great customer service. Sadly, those days are no more.
That is why I love Hulu + 1 year membership dibuu Gift cards so u do not have to share credit card with "reputable" websites, worry free piece of mind is worth the most
