SOLD OUT (all links, including the link below)

Thank you for your purchase!

We are truly sorry for any delays. Not that we're complaining, but KSL Deals usually stays pretty local and we were not expecting this deal to go national *cough* slickdeals *cough*

To those who ordered 1 of each (Hulu & Netflix), you might receive only one gift card in your first email. You may also receive the 1 year in the form of 2X 6-Month Gift Cards. Don't worry, the others are on their way and we're filling orders as fast as we can (Due to some initial technical problems, we're having to send these out manually.) We are trying our best to fill all orders within the 7-10 business days as stated in the deal description and still feel it is very possible. However, due to the massive demand, please understand if we go a couple days past! Thank you for your patience!
Deseret News Deals customer service

ATTN: KSL & Deseret Deals Hulu/Netflix Deal Buyers

If you've already received your gift card(s), you can disregard this email.

As we're sure most have noticed, it is taking a bit longer to fulfill all the orders than expected. The estimated 7-10 days was written on the ad before the deal went viral and oversold by a longshot. The deal was supposed to run for 2 weeks...we had to shut er' down in 2 hours (Think it's called the Slickdeals Effect?). There were also a few technical hiccups that are forcing us to gather all gift card requests, match up all deals sold, buyer's info, voucher code, and gift card requested manually and send them out. No doubt - it definitely could have gone smoother and we apologize for any inconvenience and delays you might have experienced. Next time, we'll just supply KSL/Deseret with the gift codes and you'll receive them instantly. Why that didn't happen this time? We're kicking ourselves wondering why too. We truly do appreciate your patience putting up with amatuers.

Just to clear some things up from questions asked:

1. The KSL/Deseret voucher code is NOT the gift card code and will NOT redeem on Hulu or Netflix.
You will receive a separate email with the subject "Your Netflix or Hulu eGift Card from KSL / Deseret News Deals!" from this email "ksldealredemption@gmail.com".
Attached will be a .PDF file with your eGift card. There is a 12 digit code in the form of XXXX-XXXX-XXXX that you will redeem in Hulu or Netflix.
2. If you don't receive your entire order at once (2 or more gift cards), don't worry - you will receive your entire order. You just might get a separate email with the additional gift cards ordered later on.
3. Though the KSL Voucher Code expires Dec. 2013, the Netflix and Hulu ones do not. Your purchased year of service begins the day you redeem the code and expires a year from that date.
4. Due to the unexpected demand and supply flow restrictions, we're needing to extend the delivery deadline to January 23, 2012. We feel most will get there gift cards well BEFORE that, but just to be safe we have set this date as our new deadline.
If you have not received your gift card by January 23, 2013 - please contact us ASAP and we will look into it and get you taken care of.
if you do not wish to wait any longer, please contact KSL or Deseret Deals for a full refund.
Hopefully this answers any questions you may have. The more time we can spend sending out orders vs replying to hundreds of the same "Where's my order?" emails, the faster we can get your order fulfilled.
However, if you do have further questions, feel free to reply to this email and we'll reply as fast as we can.

We don't want to cancel orders and believe all can be fulfilled. It's just going to take a bit longer than expected. We appreciate your patience and again, please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

We're pushing through the carpal tunnel to get you taken care of ASAP!

This might help...

How to redeem your voucher:
After your purchase, you will receive an email within 7-10 days with your digital gift card.
You can then use the code on the digital gift card to redeem online at either Netflix or Hulu

"After your purchase, you will receive an email within 7-10 days with your digital gift card.

See Hulu.com or Netflix.com for customer support issues and contact information"

"Purchased voucher expires on December 31, 2013"

So does that mean your subscription can be renewed by Dec 31st for the next year as well?
Can someone clarify? TIA

that doesnt sound good on the site it specifically says

NetDeals is only a merchant and assumes no responsibility in assisting customers (contact Netflix.com or Hulu.com.)

so basically if u have issues redeeming you have to contact either hulu or netflix...I was going to bite but seeing your message is stopping me from doing it...

Which one would be better as I do not have either one?
Had Netflix a while back and remember the limited selection.

If anyone is hesitant about joining Hulu Plus, let me just say that it is worth the $8/month (or $5.60/month at this price) just for the Criterion movies (if you like that kind of movie).
I won't join H+ until they figure out their issues with allowing all content to stream on all devices. Some of my favorite shows (Archer, Always Sunny, The League) were inexplicably not streamable on my PS3, and left a very sour taste in my mouth. Now those shows aren't even available at all; so much for ditching my cable, which I'd really like to do.

Not to mention paying for advertisements.

Can someone verify whether or not this is working? It would be nice to know before pulling the trigger, or will no one know until they send out the actual code and not the vouchers?

Pfft... I would be in if I was not on the Netflix 1 year promotion that I paid $0 for Big Grin I don't like that Netflix eliminated the ability to suspend the membership. I used to sign up, copy all the Blu-rays sent to me so I can watch them later, and then suspend the membership until the next batch of movies I wanted to watch were out. Now the membership has to sit and waste while there is nothing I want to watch.

Always... is on Netflix streaming at least 6 seasons worth (could be more I would have to check)
Archer was in the past, not sure if it's still
Don't know about the other

Probably paid $10 for a code from the LG television promotion. Wonder how many new LG television customers got robbed out of their free Netflix?

Heck, I tried to get in on the promotion too when it happened (with no luck).

In for 2 before the SD effect. Already pay for both Netflix and Hulu+ monthly so it's a no-brainer for me, along with 2% Discover Cashback.
