SOLD OUT (all links, including the link below)

Thank you for your purchase!

We are truly sorry for any delays. Not that we're complaining, but KSL Deals usually stays pretty local and we were not expecting this deal to go national *cough* slickdeals *cough*

To those who ordered 1 of each (Hulu & Netflix), you might receive only one gift card in your first email. You may also receive the 1 year in the form of 2X 6-Month Gift Cards. Don't worry, the others are on their way and we're filling orders as fast as we can (Due to some initial technical problems, we're having to send these out manually.) We are trying our best to fill all orders within the 7-10 business days as stated in the deal description and still feel it is very possible. However, due to the massive demand, please understand if we go a couple days past! Thank you for your patience!
Deseret News Deals customer service

ATTN: KSL & Deseret Deals Hulu/Netflix Deal Buyers

If you've already received your gift card(s), you can disregard this email.

As we're sure most have noticed, it is taking a bit longer to fulfill all the orders than expected. The estimated 7-10 days was written on the ad before the deal went viral and oversold by a longshot. The deal was supposed to run for 2 weeks...we had to shut er' down in 2 hours (Think it's called the Slickdeals Effect?). There were also a few technical hiccups that are forcing us to gather all gift card requests, match up all deals sold, buyer's info, voucher code, and gift card requested manually and send them out. No doubt - it definitely could have gone smoother and we apologize for any inconvenience and delays you might have experienced. Next time, we'll just supply KSL/Deseret with the gift codes and you'll receive them instantly. Why that didn't happen this time? We're kicking ourselves wondering why too. We truly do appreciate your patience putting up with amatuers.

Just to clear some things up from questions asked:

1. The KSL/Deseret voucher code is NOT the gift card code and will NOT redeem on Hulu or Netflix.
You will receive a separate email with the subject "Your Netflix or Hulu eGift Card from KSL / Deseret News Deals!" from this email "ksldealredemption@gmail.com".
Attached will be a .PDF file with your eGift card. There is a 12 digit code in the form of XXXX-XXXX-XXXX that you will redeem in Hulu or Netflix.
2. If you don't receive your entire order at once (2 or more gift cards), don't worry - you will receive your entire order. You just might get a separate email with the additional gift cards ordered later on.
3. Though the KSL Voucher Code expires Dec. 2013, the Netflix and Hulu ones do not. Your purchased year of service begins the day you redeem the code and expires a year from that date.
4. Due to the unexpected demand and supply flow restrictions, we're needing to extend the delivery deadline to January 23, 2012. We feel most will get there gift cards well BEFORE that, but just to be safe we have set this date as our new deadline.
If you have not received your gift card by January 23, 2013 - please contact us ASAP and we will look into it and get you taken care of.
if you do not wish to wait any longer, please contact KSL or Deseret Deals for a full refund.
Hopefully this answers any questions you may have. The more time we can spend sending out orders vs replying to hundreds of the same "Where's my order?" emails, the faster we can get your order fulfilled.
However, if you do have further questions, feel free to reply to this email and we'll reply as fast as we can.

We don't want to cancel orders and believe all can be fulfilled. It's just going to take a bit longer than expected. We appreciate your patience and again, please accept our apologies for this inconvenience.

We're pushing through the carpal tunnel to get you taken care of ASAP!

•Purchased voucher is valid starting January 4, 2013
•Purchased voucher expires on December 31, 2013

How'd you score that?
They deleted the thread, it was pretty scrupulous. Register a fake lg serial number get a free year of netflix. The deal is long dead. I had to buy mine from someone on ebay. None of the codes work anymore so do not even look for them

TALKED TO NETFLIX!!!!

They have no record of this affiliate and do not think it is legit at this time and are looking into it!

Do not buy!

Always... is on Netflix streaming at least 6 seasons worth (could be more I would have to check)
Archer was in the past, not sure if it's still
Don't know about the other
I know. I have a Netflix account. It only has back seasons, not current seasons.

One of the few things I use my cable for nowadays is catching every episode of those three shows (along with Louie, Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother), as well as live sports. Having Hulu Plus use to afford the ability to watch those shows, the next day, under subscription, just not on my PS3. Now, those shows aren't even on the site (other than clips).

For what it's worth, Deseret News is the largest newspaper in Utah. So I'd be surprised if it's a scam.

In for two as well. Already get Netflix and usually get Hulu+ for half the year for current seasons.

Yeah if this is a scam they really went all out. To produce this many site and secure it with Godaddy.com would be the best effort I have ever seen. This has to be legit but will we all get our codes? Oh well if it comes to pass great if not I am sure we will get our money back.

Huh -- just bought one while cringing as I'm not sure if it's legit or not. On the order confirmation page, it says:

If you have any questions or concerns with your order, email us at deals@desnews.com.

The email address isn't at "desertnews"? That makes me uneasy.

Just remember , marketing has nothing to do with the people in the call center, you spoke too.

Wondering if this was simply a targeted offer, maybe because it might just be a weak market for paid on-line streaming.

They own Desnews.com and it is used for their Church News page - if you go there and look there are copyrights with their name and offers for Sunday edition + church news supplemental.

If it's a scam, it continues to be one of the best internet scams I've ever seen. Just use a credit card.
