Ebay quality review:

Quality is ok for the first couple months, but the material gets worn out especially around the edge where the flap is bent to get put into viewing position/stand. The leather material around the edge starts to crack and peel and it tends to look nasty. But this is probably from months of use.

The plastic tray that holds onto the iPad is good and the fit is perfect for the iPad 2/3 as I don't have a 4(Retina Display one) to say anything but it should fit as its physical specs are that much diff to the iPad 3.

There's also an elastic band that is attached to one side and allows you to pull to the other flap and have it be held in place and keep the flap closed.

But yeah if you were thinking about/looking into buying the Targus type cases with the rotating 360 view, then definitely get this eBay case as it is an exact replica of it. But way cheaper and it comes in many colors and designs.

fyi... its thinner compare to targas brand... none the less its 10 bucks...

I purchased this combo on Ebay. The smart cover is OK but the back plastic cover cracked at all four corners within a couple of days of being on the Ipad. I hadn't even moved the Ipad so not from abuse, plastic just couldn;t handle the stress at the corners.

Got one of hte original post. The $3.99 one appears to be for mini from what I could find.
For $10 bucks, this would be a great change of pace cover for the iPad.

Sounds like $3.99 is more of a realistic price for a case made out of this fake leather substance. Why would you want to put a crappy case made of this material on your expensive, albeit overpriced, iPad though?
