The one main difference is the grooves that the pad sits in are not as deep on the non-Targus ones, which lets them slip out now and then. Well worth $10 though!

Huh? The Targus versavu does rotate portrait or landscape. I have two, and two of these knock offs. Both rotate and are pretty much the same.
