I buy the 5 quarts of oil and Mobil 1 filter for $29 when Advance Auto Parts has their sales every other month or so.

 I could get six quarts at Walmart for a lot less. Amazon says the M1-204 doesn't fit my car, but Mobil and O'Reilly disagree. |

i stocked up from the last advance auto deal(5qt jug + filter) for like 28.99.
btw i use m1-209 which advance says does not fit my car. so even if it says it doesn't fit your car check some forums(for instance i read saturnfans) |

They never have my size on sale. I get lucky and use the store bundles to get the deals.
My Size: M1C254 These are some of the best filters out there. I only use these filters, I would recommend anyone using good synthetic oil use them. You can run higher mileage 10k+ (my truck) or just be sure your treating it right and change at 4-5k (Camaro.) Last edited by jplayland; 01-04-2013 at 12:54 PM.. Good deal. I ususally snag puralator pureone or napa gold lately just because of convenience. Mobil1s are nice when they are on sale.

Once again, the guy with the cartridge filter gets screwed. Oh well.
TRIPLE check your part number --- even mobil's website gives more than one for my car, which came in two layouts (over model years but they can't figure out). Good for those of you that can get it. I was Dirty Harry, John Wayne, and G.I. Joe
