What would you sell the bulb for? Would it be labeled as "New", or "used" or "pulled from working unit". What if the bulb had used up 1999 of its 2000 hrs? Would you be comfortable still selling it for $300? Where would you draw the line? The junk yard analogy is mute because individual parts don't have a shelf life. Selling auto parts with known shelf life is illegal in many states. (ex. Airbags)

I have got burnt because of people who did what you are suggesting. Selling unknown parts without knowing their condition and claiming to have been pulled from working equipment. We as a slickdeals community should not encourage this. If they are sensitive parts going into sensitive equipment, people can get hurt.

I don't think this is the same one. Even the one listed on Newegg is not the same one.

This one is a DMS700 and the newegg one is a DMS700R

If you zoom in on the crappy ebay picture of the back panel, it does not match up.

almost bit till my friend pointed out it is 1024 x 768. Told me to set my monitor resolutions to that and imagine it being blown up to 50-60". Had to pass. :sigh: thought i found a gem too. TU neways tho!

This will be GREAT for watching movies out by the pool in the back yard! Now just need to get a portable screen or one of those outdoor inflatable ones!

Ah... these aren't unknown. Unless you are accusing this company of being liars. They are listed as new. Why do you disbelieve them?

that really only applies if you are using the projector as a monitor. If you are using this to watch movies it will look great. Imagine a 50 inch tv that is 720p
