COME ON OP, YOU CAN'T TELL THEM NOT TO ABUSE THIS IN ONE SENTENCE AND THEN POST THE VALUE IN THE NEXT. PULL DOWN THIS POST BEFORE THE COMPANY CATCHES ON AND ENDS THE GIVEAWAY. THE SITE IS LOCKED UP SOLID ALREADY.
THIS HAS NO PLACE ON SLICKDEALS.

I agree with you 100%, it's already screwed up for those of us that got the offer legit. I cannot get through and got it legitimately. It should be pulled down.

The original poster meant that this would have cost thus and so dollars for people who do need this stuff but have a limited purse for such outlays. Lighten up.

Lighten up? Greedy ebayers are ensuring those that need it are not getting it thanks to this thread. The system is overloaded.

"BAD KARMA" WILL HIT THOSE WHO SELL IT ON EBAY/CL.

Thanks!

You're Welcome....I am newly diagnosed and and with the number of meters out there to pick from, its madness as well as very expensive!

After doing some research, this one seemed the best for me! Good diabetes management software is included. Don't use the disk provided though....go to the Bayer website and download the newest version. Also make sure you've updated your Java software as well!

PM me if you have any additional questions or concerns!

I've had this meter for 2-3 years. They used to be free instore. The big plus, rechargable.

There's some serious variation between meters. Using the same blood sample, I've seen this meter and another brand be off by 50.

I hear you on this issue....apparently Bayer has fixed this problem. They now claim its within 20% variance at testing time. Of course there are many factors that led to wild readings with any meter such as not washing your hands thoroughly, not applying your test blood immediately after you've pricked your finger, etc...

Of course, I too like the rechargeable feature its great! The software is also on the USB drive so you can install it elsewhere. Don't forget, there is also a separate partition to use as a generic jump drive to save doc, video, mp3s as well!

Just my two cents...

TU and repped.
I have had type 1 diabetus 25 years now. This appears to be a great meter, especially with the rechargeable battery which I guess charges through a computer or maybe even a cell phone charger (plug the meter into the USB port on the wall charger?).

I won't be getting this because the meters I have now are wireless and talk to my insulin pump when I test my BS level. I hope all type one diabetics move to a pump, and one that has this awesome wireless technology. The pump was a dramatic change in care for me and I cannot imagine having the diabetus without it.

While I don't take insulin, they do have a version of this meter that wireless transmits insulin dosages levels to you.

Ohh snap!! That's my pump right on the page you posted (Hmm, I don't think I have the Revel pump, but I might be able to upgrade). Some good stuff.
I use this one, look at the size of it compared to the Bayer one!

Your meter seems a bit larger? Looks like the Bayer Contour Next meter is similar to the one I have but for insulin management!

If you mean the box you get in the mail? Its a nondescript plain white box with a return address from Bayer and of course your address!

Good job OP this a great find! Normally I would jump on this since it's free but I hate to be taking from someone who needs it.

20% either way is 160 - 240 when you are 200.
