To All,

For anyone who has diabetes, Bayer is giving away a FREE CONTOUR USB blood glucose meter and strips!

https://offers.bayerdiabetes.com/...offer.aspx

Enter promo code "300" (w/o the quotes)

If the above link does not work....try this direct one!

https://offers.bayerdiabetes.com/...quest.aspx

I can personally confirm that I already received both my glucose meter along with USB cable AND 25 FREE testing strips. The strips alone cost about $20-$25 for the bottle and the meter ranges in price between $20-$40 dollars.

Sign-up, and a few days later you will get an e-mail confirming your order was sent out!

Good Luck!

P.S. Please do not abuse the offer....some folks really need a meter and strips and this a great way to at least try it out.Wink Oh and BTW, if any of you are thinking of turning around and selling this FREE offer both the box and bottle say NOT FOR RESALE! OMG

COME ON OP, YOU CAN'T TELL THEM NOT TO ABUSE THIS IN ONE SENTENCE AND THEN POST THE VALUE IN THE NEXT. PULL DOWN THIS POST BEFORE THE COMPANY CATCHES ON AND ENDS THE GIVEAWAY. THE SITE IS LOCKED UP SOLID ALREADY.
THIS HAS NO PLACE ON SLICKDEALS.

I agree with you 100%, it's already screwed up for those of us that got the offer legit. I cannot get through and got it legitimately. It should be pulled down.

The original poster meant that this would have cost thus and so dollars for people who do need this stuff but have a limited purse for such outlays. Lighten up.

Lighten up? Greedy ebayers are ensuring those that need it are not getting it thanks to this thread. The system is overloaded.

"BAD KARMA" WILL HIT THOSE WHO SELL IT ON EBAY/CL.

looks like they intentionally screwed up that web page not to honor , what they can't fix it? its been 24 hours. I got one for 99 cents after mfg coupon from walgreen some one posted that coupon here thanks for that and repped the person who posted that $5 coupon.Yeah sure no testing strips though i got a buy it now.
Why should they honor it? They sent out emails to those that were supposed to get the meters. People signing up for a free meter that did not get the email is stealing. I don't blame them for shutting it down, it's been hijacked because a simpleton posted his email info on here.

It's funny to me how many people complain that they couldn't get in on the offer and blame it on Ebayers. Let's be real about things for a minute.
You are just as dense as the other guy.

1, Bayer sent out the email's to certain people with the code for a free meter.

2. Many that actually got the email cannot get the meter because it's been hijacked by those that did not get an email and only want to sell the meter.

3. What part of that can you not comprehend???? They meant them for those that they sent the emails to. Now that's been sabotaged by people like you that thinks you are owed one even though you did not get an email.

Heck, I actually need a meter and I've been diagnosed with diabetes. It's sad the site doesn't work and I don't have any money to buy a meter. Frown

I've been trying for the last 4 hours and no luck.
Ask your doctor for one. Test strip manufacturers give starter kits like this one to doctors in the same way that drug companies do with samples.

but they wont show up
is it just my computer?
I have the same problem, but I found another way to print it.
First, you save it as pdf file (not print as pdf, but "Save file"), then open that pdf to print. Hope it help.

Most meters are free. Go ask you doctor and he might give you one. The money is made on tests strips.

Just like printers and ink. So no need to go ape shit.

Please let me know. I got the error signing up for my grandmother, who has been diabetic for 20 years. It would help her out. Thanks
If you subscribe "Reader Digest" magazine, you will see all kind of free blood glucose meter. I don't see it every issue, but very often.

Like I told the other SDer, if you subscribe "Reader Digest", you're in luck. Try to figure out where you will find the magazine. Good luck!

If the site was just being overwhelmed, some people would still manage to get through (especially overnight hours), so they've obviously crippled it on purpose. Why don't they just put up a message that it's temporarily stopped because of the demand, or that they're out of stock or it or something, instead of wasting everyone's time filling out the form?

BTW, do people really actually get these to resell?
