Most of these have been $1 for at least a couple of months.

The Beethoven Big Box was at $1 jumped to $8 or so for Christmas then dropped back down to $1.

Also, a lot of the performers on these omnibus are pretty much no name which usually (though not always) means a not as good performance.

Wish they'd put stuff like Janine Jansen albums on these sales instead of the generic mediocre quality MP3s of giant box sets with no real organization or thought.

Most of those deals aren't that good, IMO. I prefer to wait till the 99+ sets of full pieces come down to $5 or less. And Requies is right about the performances generally not being as good on these compilations as on some bigger-name albums. I generally just use them as background music at work, so I'm not too concerned, but if you're really into classical you might be disappointed.

That said, the Big Beethoven Box is a steal at $0.99. I just bought it. Personally, I think that's the only Slickdeal in the thread, but YMMV.
