FL resident Disney tickets - $33/day

only problem would be if they check IDs again when you enter the turn gate, or force you to finger print right when you pick up the tickets.

i read worst case scenario is they make you upgrade the tickets.

I believe they must be pre-purchased---not 100% sure though.I do know they don't ID at the gate, atleast they didn't check ours and we went 3 times last year.The only time was @ ticket pickup/Will Call.

We have old Florida ids (expire in 2014). Any reason those wouldn't work?

I'm thinking about doing this when I go to the park as well. All I've heard is they ask for ID's at Will Call, that is it.. I wonder if they print your name on the ticket though? Even if so, they probably will only activate the tickets, and have you scan your finger. So if your in-laws fingers don't change, you should be good.

Have you done this before with anyone over the age of 9? I agree that they won't check ID, but you'd think there may be a risk involved.

they won't check ID for the kids, but dont they require everyone, including the kids, to be present when you pick up the tickets?

Also there are always someone at the turnstiles and won't they catch an adult using a child ticket?

The only time anyone at the gate is concerned is when you slide your ticke and the red beep comes on.

No one at the counter checks who's with me, i was at will call gave them my Florida ID and my wifes, for my younger kids they don't ask for any ID.

The tickets look the same nothing distinguishing child vs adult, when they ask for name of child you put your relatives name down.

I'm just saying the price is exactly the same, if you run into any problem you can say you accidentally must have chosen age 3-9 when placing the order online.

Thanks for the info. quick question do the child ticket have the world "child" written on it? Also when you slide your ticket through the turnstyle have you noticed if the word child come up on the screen or is it just the green light?

The folks at the turnstiles expect adults will scan their fingers and wait for the light to turn green before sending them through. Won't this system be upset when an adult is not prompted for their fingerprint? Or is there an override that the person at the turnstile activates when it's a child? Will the system accept a fingerprint in the first recording, if it's a child's ticket?

There are a lot of questions here, and I would not feel comfortable testing this without some kind of confirmation. That assumes I could get past the scam that is buying a child's ticket for a grown-up person. Hey, you're grown-up, why don't you act like one and buy a grown-up ticket?

I'm going to wdw tomorrow. It doesn't seem like there's any deals for non fl residents. How did anyone get a 400.00 pap?
Also does anyone have any tips for wdw ticket discounts?

The 1 park per day limitation kills this for me.
