Went to S. Attleboro, MA store. They showed 7 in stock. Located on end cap and marked $50. I checked with the service desk and they said the sign was incorrect. Walked out with one for $35. thanks for the deal.

Saw that in store, was looking for a corded electric drill has 2500 RPM + to drill clean pocket holes, this one the drill only spin up to 2000 RPM, not a major step up from my 1600 RPM cordless Ryobi drill and the impact driver only has half the torque of a Dewalt cordless impact driver. Kinda half @ss if you asked me.

At last decided it's not worth the hassle to fire up my small 8 Gal Air Compressor every time I need them. So I SAVED myself $35 Smilie. TU anyway.

They still have these and at different prices...at different stores.

W McKinney, TX #6809 $45.00 5 left
McKinney, TX #528 $25.00 6 left
Allen #6502, TX $35.00 Sold Out

On another note...most of the left overs from BF are really starting to get cheap. Picked up a bunch of the led lights and laser pointers for a couple bucks...each store had different prices. Also saw some of the cordless tools taking a dip of $10-$30 depending on store and stock. The online inventory may not be accurate.

Are these drills worth it...at $90 no...but at $25...probably.

Alright it's $25 now and I took the plunge. Corded electric drill is nice but this set at 2 dozen bones this won't set me back as far. This is my first set of air tool I don't know what to expect.

I did some research and tried a couple things last night with the air drill, it's true air drill only has comparable torque with a decent battery drill, it's very important to have a short hose (8' 3/8" hose max recommended in the manual I picked one up at HF, although online air flow calculator suggest 50' doesn't make much difference) and don't use quick coupling which will cause 7 psi drop @75 psi to pass each according to industry research paper. Last but not least, oil babe oil! The drill's torque before oiling is pathetic, after oiling I will say at least 20% bump ( I gauge that by seeing how deep it can drill into the 2*4 end grain with a fairly large 3/8" drill bit). So compare side by side to my craftsman 12v Li-on drill's published max 195 in-lb torque, this air drill probably has 230 in-lb torque at optimum hose connection situation. For reference the 19V cordless drill has 340 in-lb torque.

So yes this set trigger my 8 gal air compressor to run constantly , hearing protection is a must to keep your sanity and you have to work within arm's distance with your air compressor. Only has a hair more power than 12V drill. The positive side is it's very light and spin faster than 12V drill and, it's cheap! with that much hassle and limitation I definitely won't take it more than $50 in any day , but hey it's only $25 a set now with 2 years warranty, can't beat that can you? yummy
