Gun - Remora Holsters 25% off w/ Code "newyear25"

i currently carry a fobus for my H&K, but i am looking for a good ankle holster for my bodyguard .38, any recommendations?

*Yawn* Cop and military veteran here; I own two of these holsters. While I would never wear it to work, this is my go-to holster for off-duty carry when I want to IWB.

Those saying it will fall through your pants or move around have obviously never tried it - it's not going anywhere.

Its a valid point that you won't be returning to the holster quickly - as the self-proclaimed firearms instructor stated above. However, in real life, outside of the range, getting the gun back into the holster quickly should be the least of your concerns and most real tactics instructors with real-world experience will tell you that people die from secondary threats because they rush back to the holster.

Yes, having a thumb break would make it more secure as would adding belt clips or snaps, but that's not the point of this holster just as you wouldn't recommend those things for a fanny pack, belly band, or any holster you're going to compete in a shooting competition with.

In other words, this is a special purpose holster that does fill a need. It's great to arm/disarm without having to completely undress yourself. It's comfortable, and unlike the kydex IWB holsters, it's not kydex, it prints less, there's no clips or snaps that show, and in most instances, it's less than $50.

I must be missing something. If you are carrying for personal protection why is reholstering an issue? If I pull my weapon there will be a percieved threat. I will not be concerned that I can reholster the weapon in a nanosecond, as long as I can remove it quickly.

I have been eyeing these for a few months for my glock 26, my prefer carry has been the glock 23. I have no issues concealing it. G26 has been in the safe since I've purchased it, hmmmm

I've never owned or even driven a tractor, but I think they are very dangerous, so stay away from them or you will die, die, die!!!

I've used various holsters for CC, never satisfied with any, except the El Paso Saddlery I use to pocket carry my P-3AT. When I got a Shield 9, decided to try a Remora with it.

I carried around the house in jeans w/belt, held fine, even when I did yard work. Then I decided to give it what I considered a stress test: I wore it in some workout pants, the kind with an elastic waistband and a string. Lounged around the house, no issues. Then I did some push ups, still ok. Did various excercises on the Total Gym, copacetic.

Then I threw the acid test at it... bends and thrusts, begin! ... anyone that's been thru Marine boot knows whereof I type. Passed! Shield 9 in a Remora 4art w/sweat shield & laser option is my every day CC. For the record, I'm slender and can disaffirm the notion that we skinnies will launch our weapons willy nilly if we dare to use these here Remoras.

Edit to add weight to my opinion: I have been carrying concealed with one for about a year now. I carry my Springfield P9C in .40S&W around 5 o'clock. I got the Series 10-ART with full sweat shield. It's just as comfy and secure in the appendix carry position, should my activities require it.

Best pocket holster I've ever used. They really stay put and draw smooth even from loose cargo pockets when I'm deeply concealed with something small like an lcp.

Seems most of the negative opinions of Remora's come from folks like you that have zero personal experience with one. I contrast that to the hundreds of positive comments I've read in other gun forums (and a bunch on this thread) from people with personal carry experience with them. I appreciate opposing opinons, but to call it "irresponsible" to carry with a Remora and then add your "Fisher Price" analogy, is just plain over the top sensationalism. Especially when you have no personal experience with this holster. Too much ignorant sensationalism going on already right now about firearms. Let's keep our information factual and repsectful so that others can use that information to make an informed choice about a product.

The point of this site is to post deals on goods and services. This is a slick deal on a product that is widely accepted by the firearm community. Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it a poor buy. Kind of like the anti-gun folks that TD anything to do with guns. Just because they don't like the product, doesn't make the deal any less slick.

Now, lets talk about something productive, like how to find bulk .223 ammo and AR parts at a reasonable price. Anyone?

I use remora EXCLUSIVELY for all my CCW which range from a Ruger LC9, M&Pc 9mm to a full sized 1911.... these are cream of the crop when it comes to comfortable and secure carry. If anyone has questions feel free to PM me.

never owned one so couldn't talk bad about something i've never tried, but all the positive reviews, and youtube reviews swayed me to buy them, and at that price can't really go wrong
