I like shopping on Bodybuilding.com and it is nice when you can find a decent discount to offset the shipping on smaller orders.

I haven't seen a 20% off coupon ever... except maybe BF. I think you mean there is always a 10% off coupon, which is true.

Everyday I wake up and try to live my life in the hopes that one day, I can make enough money to exclusively drink Monster Milk for protein.
I get your sarcasm, but Monster Milk is a post-workout supplement, similar to ON Platinum Hydrowhey. You can't drink it exclusively.
And yes, this stuff is prohibitively expensive, so $53.56 is actually a good price for it.

Or take advice from someone who probably doesn't know what he's talking about and acts like he does.

beware of Muscle Milk...read below....from consumer reports....I live heavy metal..but thats music...not protein powders

The samples of Muscle Milk Chocolate powder we tested contained all four heavy metals, and levels of three metals in the product were among the highest of all in our tests. Average cadmium levels of 5.6 µg in three daily servings slightly exceeded the USP limit of 5 µg per day, and the average lead level of 13.5 µg also topped the USP limit of 10 µg per day. The average arsenic level of 12.2 µg was approaching the USP limit of 15 µg per day, and the average for mercury was 0.7 µg, well below the USP's 15 µg-per-day limit. Three daily servings of Muscle Milk Vanilla Crème contained 12.2 µg of lead, exceeding lead limits, and 11.2 µg of arsenic. A fourth product, Muscle Milk Nutritional Shake Chocolate (liquid), provided an average of 14.3 µg of arsenic per day from three servings, approaching the proposed USP limit.

What is whey good for? Should I buy this stuff to grow muscles? Everyone keeps talking about getting huge and lifting weights. I do that and I want that so, should I buy?

Yeah I know I know. I was just being sarcastic as you said. I pick up a couple of their RTD's at my gym every now and then. I love them so much. So packed full of goodness. But as we both said, so very expensive. Love the product though.

Yeah I don't drink Muscle Milk. The heavy metals being part of the reason. It is a strange protein profile. It is somewhere lost between an isolate / clean protein and a meal replacement / gainer. So much powder for such little protein. I have never understood it's following but to each his own.

In for 3 Muscle Milk & 3 Assaults.

I'm a little nervous about taking Assault though. I remember On a cold Friday afternoon, I had come home from school. I had been thinking of the gym all day. I was hungry, didn't have any lunch. In fact, I didn't eat because I spent the money. For the past month I was saving up for something. Something special which I bought at GNC. I was surprised they didn't ask for ID; I was pretty sure the cashier noticed how nervous I was. Anyways, my mom asked my how my day was when I got home, but I ignored her. I have more important things to do. I run to the bathroom and unpack my bag. In my school bag is a white plastic bag from GNC. I open the bag, first removing the receipt and flushing it down the toilet to get rid of the evidence. My heart was racing now. I unpack the creatine monster from the bag.

I wonder what people will be asking me when they see that I will be 50lbs heavier. Should I say I was just eating a lot? I remove the label from the tub and tear it into a thousand small pieces. I flush that down the toilet, too. It is time now. I run up to my room when my mom ask me what I am holding. I panic, sweat drips down my forehead and my teeth chatter. "Mom, it's just for a school project". "What project?" "I don't know mom I just started it!". A tear runs down my cheek. I run upstairs and open the creatine, scooping upservings into a clear water bottle. What have I gotten myself into? I fill it with water and drink it. There is no turning back now. The creatine monster is inside me now, it will control me. What should I do if I die? I cant let my family know about this.

I open the creatine tub and throw it all out the window; a white cloud of mysterious dust sparkles into the wind so graciously. I feel the substance taking control of me; I am now the monster. I walk downstairs, its time to work out; time to get big. Now I worry, I don't want to get too big; people will think I use steroids. I do use steroids. No I don't. Creatine. All I see is the weights now, I am almost downstairs when I hear "Do you want a cookie I just baked". I know I do not have time for this **** now. "No mom I do not want a cookie" I walk in the basement and drop to my knees before the weights, tears running down my cheeks. I turn to the right and look at myself in the mirror. Oh god, what have I done?

That's a deal killer! Be careful, especially you younger guys as you brain and body are still developing and the heavy metal toxicity can impede you permanently!

Thanks for the heads up! I used to drink muscle milk as a post-workout or meal replacement shake every other day or so last year. I stopped as I heard it contained too much fat. I was considering it again. I will never again drink this no matter how great tasting it is. My fitness goal involves eating whole foods and natural kind of supplementation. I am trying to stay away from as much toxic crap as possible. Again, too bad because the vanilla muscle milk is great tasting.
