Thank you for the info! I have never owned any home theater (just a basic sound bar)so please forgive my ignorance and basic questions but if I buy this set, am I gonna have to seal with hiding cables and stuff. I thought the tall ones were wireless and rear speakers and the wires can be hidden behind my tv stand for the from ones...but turns out that's not the case....so all of these speakers are wired?
How do y'all hide those wires? I definetely wouldn't wanna see wires all over my carpet....any wireless home theater suggestions?

I just upgrade my HTIB unit when I find a more modern unit that has the same 3-4 ohm impedence. The speakers end up staying in the box until I upgrade, and pass it on to someone else. I've never found any "good" wireless solutions, but I never researched much. But considering you still need power, and AC wires can be more intrusive than speaker wires, maybe just grit your teeth and run some cable. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3...ave-wires/ Sorry I can't be much help. |

I would not buy HTiB.
I got half satisfaction and end up paying more to upgrade to tower speakers n 12" subwoofer. Last edited by chong67; 01-06-2013 at 04:34 PM.. My RIG:

This route only costs about $25 if you get a used one from eBay. I have three that I use around the house for devices that only support ethernet. |
