This is like the 10th Nexus 7 deal in a row from NJ now, what is up with that?
Anyways, was about to pull the trigger on a deal for $220 I saw on eBay yesterday (from NJ of course), but now not sure if I still want it. The Nexus 7 is extremely fragile, lots of stories of broken tablets due to minor drops or even just bad cases. Google and you will see what I mean. So I guess you get what you pay for. I am usually not a fan of extended warranties, but it may be worth it in this case. |

i am very much considering this......but there are going to be cheaper tablets soon - there's a decent 139 tablet that was unveiled at CES this week. and i hear about a cheaper google tab. Probably won't have as good specs tho....what to do!

Nexus's screen sucks and it's not a "normal" tablet as it doesn't have microSD card slot - the same as Amazon's Kindle Fire they want you to be using and paying for their Cloud services not being able to expand the available storage on the tablet.
Nook HD has 7" screen 1440 x 900 pixel resolution, 243 PPI (pixels per inch), weights 11.1 oz (315 g) and has microSD card slot (not on Nexus.) Nook HD+ is 9" screen and microSD slot for $269. |
