No it is better to buy an infant car seat where the base is installed to the car seat and you can latch the child seat to it. This is very useful since infants are sleeping most of the time.

No,the britax frontier is for forward facing children at least 25lbs!

Amazon has the same seat listed at $254. Also got 2% cashback from another site. Been on the hunt for a deal on one of these car seats for a while, finally found it.

You could buy them separately but make sure they are both the same brand as they work very well together(child seat must latch to the stroller). Usually I think the travel system(stroller+car seat combo) works out to be less expensive.

If that total is including tax then that sounds right! The $183.59 is before tax
