Ended up going with a Radian 120 since i need one for rear facing too. I was looking on the ipad and tons of the britax models were in stock. went to cook dinner and came back, bam cleared out. i lose again. I was going to order a couple different ones to see which fit in the car the best since space is tight. My passenger has to be short. Luckily it is usually my short wife.

does anyone know why you would pick this one over the Graco Nautilus? I just bought this one for $133 shipped plus $20 Kohl's cash. Same one sells for $175+tax on Amazon.
http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-...garnet.jsp FYI.. I have Britax B-agile travel system and it's been great! But I went to BRU and compared both the Graco Nautilus and the Frontier, the Graco just seems so much nicer made. It's has a 4.5 star rating like the Frontier as well on Amazon. "We have both and hands down prefer the Frontier. It has more leg room (deeper seat) and more room through the shoulders. It has a no thread harness so you get a more custom fit with the head wings. We have car sleepers and have almost no head flop issues (head on chest) in the Frontier - the Nautilus - almost every time. And remember that for the extra $50 or so, you get another 3 years of harness use - that makes it seem pretty cheap - actually at cost per year of use - the Frontier is about $5 cheaper per year. The Frontier is not difficult to install - just different. Read AND follow the instructions and it is easy. I have heard the Frontier makes a better booster - but I didn't get either seat with the intensions of using the booster mode any time soon. But I will say that YDS got sick all over his Frontier and I had to wash the cover - While I had it apart, I tried out the booster mode for myself. Get this - I'm 5'7" and I still fit in the Frontier in booster mode! I have a 23" torso and I have read the Frontier can accoodate up to a 24" torso. It will become the tallest booster on the market right now. Cons on the Frontier - the mess cover will snag somewhat with velcro shoes -the Sahara cover is different though - no mesh on that one. The cup holders on the Frontier are a bit chinsy for the price range of the seat - but I didn't buy it for the cup holders anyway. It is VERY heavy - not ideal for moving it around from one vehicle to another. Here is ODS almost a year ago (at 4yrs old, 41in, and 35 lbs) in the Nautilus:" Last edited by Seashell74; 01-06-2013 at 09:13 PM.. Reason: Link |
