For anyone that doesn't think light matters, go visit the far north (e.g., Alaska, Norway, etc.) about mid June. When it's still light out at midnight and you're not the least bit sleepy....

Set your monitor to come out of idle when a program loads. There are so many other free PC alarms that can load any program you wish. |

Just buy 3 - $5 wall timers set 5 minutes apart and plug in 3 lamps with different watt bulbs

 I know! I usually don't get up before noon I like the darkness and would rather have an alarm going off than a light turning on while i'm asleep, it makes me cranky and sometimes gives me a headache. Can't stand mornings!
When I have trouble falling asleep, I count ECBs instead of sheep

I almost got one of those Verilux Happy Lights for Winter Blues things. The manual said something like "don't use for more than 10 minutes until you know it doesn't cause you discomfort or aggitation." LOL
