The first link is for the cheapest model, which turns out to be the best deal IMO. The lowest I've found it on this forum is $64. The reviews are excellent, and I had been waiting for the price to come down, so I jumped on this one. The Hf3470 is out of stock, but you can still place the order and it will ship at the $20 off price when back in stock.

The $20 off is achieve by clipping the coupon, which should be listed on the product page.

MIne is on its way and am wondering if it will work for me. My DH gets up at 5AM. I work from home so can get up anytime but I usually get up at 6 when he leaves for work. If he sets this to get up at 5 does the light begin to shine at 5? If so should we set it at 4:30? Does the radio not come on until the light is at full brightness? I am not sure I want to begin waking up at 4:30 everyday.
It gradually gets brighter 30 minutes before your scheduled alarm--so in your case, 4:30am. It will reach full brightness at 5am. An audible alarm will also go off at 5am if you guys enabled that feature.

Seriously though, I was sitting there scratching my head wondering why there was no $60 one but the more expensive model was $65, then I jumped to the last page lol...

Got in just in time.

I just got in on the frontpage lightning deal (1/17). Now I am wondering if it is worth the $35 to go from the 3510 ($65 lightning price) to the 3520 ($100 found in this thread) in order to get the colored sunrise simulation. Anyone who got one of these in a position to comment?? Thanks in advance.

I returned mine -- prefer the cheap $5 standard battery operating alarm clock.

I found the controls on the Philips device difficult to use, and it's no magic wake-up feel good device.

I bought the 3470 at first and after arrival I left it in the box while I waited for reviews. I then got the 3510 at a really good deal and since it was supposed to be a better light, I ordered. When it arrived I opened right away and was disappointed in the many controls around the edge of the clock so I opened the 3470. I think I like the 3470 much better. The 3510 is nice but trying to find a snooze or off button is a pain. How are others feeling about theirs?

Canceled mine...

It is a good deal, but I figure putting the hundred into a couple additional bulbs for the Philips Hue system makes more sense. I can do just about anything with that. (although it seems they're out of stock everywhere.)
Are those Hue lights pretty bright? I'm on the fence cause I am scared that they will put out very little light for my hallway and then I'll be several hundred dollars down the drain for nothing.

50W equivalent or so. They're not very bright.

There are a few videos on youtube that give a good idea of the sort of light they put out.

First generation product and all, it's still a toy in some respects.

I've seen many videos on youtube including Chris Pirillos vlog on it who is a well known Vlogger on youtube. Your description gives me a much better idea than any of the videos I've seen thanks.
