Anyone know if it's easy it is to dismantle this? (without breaking the enclosure)

I've opened up several HGST/Hitachi Touro series external HDs. It looks like it just has clips (probably 3 on each side). Don't apply too much pressure or you'll break them off.

Enclosures are pretty cheap anyways if you do break it.

BTW, the drive inside this model is: Hitachi Travelstar 5K1000 (HTS541010A9E680)

The USB interface on the WD is soldered onto the drive itself so can't use it as a SATA drive. This one isn't like that and the drive inside has a SATA interface.
