Microcenter has them new for 399.99 and there is a $25.00 coupon for purchase of anything over that amount.374.99
They allso have the newest Ipad 4th generation with retina for 459.00 less the 25 dollar coupon. Third option is have target price match generation I pad to 459.99 and they have a 30 dollar gift card this week with purchase
all new in boxes (microcenter has the open box Ipad..subject to availabilty for even less)

That's a great deal if....
A-you live by a MC as thire deal is in store only
B- you live near a MC that the coupon is valid, Yonkers and Baltimore
C- you live near a MC otherwise your target laughs at you. Let alone if they have had them in stock or months now
For those of us who live 5+ hrs away for MC this is a nice deal

If you read the thread about the MC coupons, seems most of the MC stores are accepting them. I would much rather have a new Ipad 4th generation for a very few dollars more and not worry
1, about a refurbished unit
2. It is a discontinued model after only 6 months. Funny how they are still producing and selling Ipad 2 (read macforums..their have been issued with overheating...maybe why discontinued).

Apple Refurbished = new. New battery, new case, and 1 yr warranty.

if you go to www.microcenter.com they show the ad that is good until 1/13. I printed it out and went to the front desk. She took out her tablet, they use in the stoe, went to the site and page ..saw the price and matched it for me. As there were a few people around me they all got the sale price... they were happy campers

Microcenter has the other sizes on sale, also someone said in a previous thread they had some unbelieveable buys on open box ipads. I went with 16gb and will use cloud

Where is the coupon for MC? and I dont see a price of $399 for an Ipad anywhere on their website. The lowest one I see is a 4th generation Ipad for $459. Am I doing something wrong?
