Bought this a while back. The pruner is good but the saw is very flexible and has poor teeth. Difficult to work with and started bending after one tree. I returned it for a sturdier saw.

This is definitely a good price for this set but if your an avid gardener like I am you might want to mainly use the folding saw and give the pruners to a light gardening user. I say this because Fiskars makes several styles of (bypass)pruners and the ones I use right now will cut 1 inch thick branches like butta and the bottom handle rotates with each cut so you have way less fatigue with constant use.Super plus about fiskars is they have a lifetime guarantee and free sharpening!

P.S.-If your a lefty,invest in their brand and you will be happy.From scissors to pruners

Anyone use there free sharpening before?

If you do a lot of tree pruning on your property Fiskars makes a tool called a pruning stick [fiskars.com]. Absolutely the best pruning tool on the market, and lifetime warranty with a no hassles approach for warranty service. As a matter of fact, my neighbor, who was the one that made me aware of the tool, threw his original Pruning Stick in the garbage after he had for about 10 or so years. It simply had worn out from all the use he had given it. I asked him if I could have it, reminding him there is a lifetime warranty, he said "take it". I called Fiskars, they told me to take a picture of the pruning stick and send it in. The sent me a new Pruning Stick no charge and I received it from Fedex within a week. Astounding service, even warrantied a couple of broken garden shovels and an old pair of Fiskar scissors with a broken handle, simply sent them a picture through their customer service at their website. My only complaint, they, like many other companies, now have their products made in China. Other then that, great company and top notch customer service.
