Not a good product? Sure it isn't the newest generation, but its certainly no slouch. They list it as new, but would this come with the usual warranty?

Why would you be confused, it clearly states in the Title and description its a 3rd generation. Even on the image right under it says The A5X chip |

Why is this getting downranked? $540 for a 64GB iPad 3 is a pretty damn good deal. It would cost you $699 for a comparable 4th generation.
It's only $40 more than a 16GB iPad 4. |

the problem is the it is a discontinued product from apple IMO.
apple is still selling and producing the ipad2 and the newest ipad 4th generation. For the same price can get the ipad 32gb 4th generation |

The iPad 3 will be supported longer than the iPad 2 when it comes to iOS upgrades (it has way more horsepower). Also, most people pay tax when buying an iPad (be it from Apple, Best Buy, Microcenter, Frys, etc). Getting it from eBay might save buyers around $40 in tax. Buying this 64GB iPad 3 would cost me $540. Buying a 32GB iPad 4 would cost me $639 including tax. That's a $100 difference for 32GB less memory. |

The only reason why the iPad 3 is discontinued is because the 4 is a 1:1 replacement for the 3. The iPad 2 remains as the budget 10.1" entry. Also, not everyone has a Frys in their state. But everyone can access eBay. |
