Bosch Auto Batteries at Pep Boys: $20 MIR + $25 coupon YMMV

I just got a new car battery from Pep Boys.

Original price for my car (size group 47) was 111.99

$25 off $100 coupon located here (thru 1/15):

$20 Mail In Rebate located here (also available in store):

Final price will be $66.99.

This was compared to $135 at sears and $149 at the popular auto stores. If you think you may need a battery this winter, I would jump on this.

Note: the coupon does say not valid with other offers or rebates, however they took it and gave me the rebate form. The rebate says nothing about not being valid with coupons or other offers.

Noted... although the rebate receipt prints automatically from the cash register (I got two receipts: 1 for the warranty and 1 for the MIR), so I don't think it was an oversight. Even if they don't give you the MIR form you could still print one on your own.

There are rarely any good deals aside from paying regular price on car batteries since I don't have an Advanced Auto Parts nearby. As yangar said, the rebate form does state in the fine print that it's not valid with any other discounts or coupons. I hope that doesn't cause an issue.

I'm going to print it and give it a shot but my fingers aren't crossed. ...Still cheaper than costco or walmart even without the rebate but an extra $40 would be sweet.
