Mmmm, I've been thinking about getting a drive to install games on. Dunno if I wanna go with a 7200rpm drive or a SSD like this, though. This is probably better, since I can't imagine myself actively playing between 4-5 games at any one time.

Can someone explain why the 2,000 IOPS makes this thing a sucky SSD (as stated in the wiki) besides that it is way lower than other SSD IOPS? Does this shit really matter for X use, or is it just another spec to tout for marketing? Don't regular HDD's cap out somewhere near the hundred. The wiki was edited to say it's not much of an SSD in terms of performance. Or a link to an article about the significance of IOPS would be great. Thx!
