anyone feeling lucky lol....cleaned out my area months ago at $24...didn't think it was all that hot so I didn't post

Does anyone have an opinion about these vs. the Philips O'Neill SHO9560BK/28 (a.k.a. "The Stretch")? I found the Philips for $29 at a local TJ Maxx and I'm curious how they might compare to these. I'm no audiophile and the main thing I'm looking for is comfort.

Ordered mine and they shipped it out the following morning with tracking number. Should be here in 4 days. I'm glad they dont use that fake leather covering. My last 2 headphones had it, and bits would always come off.

Yep, I hate the leather crap on most of the headphones. I ordered these because it looks solid and really comfortable.
I was wrong on the delay shipment. Should be getting mine tommorow sometime. |

I got mine today. First impressions are good. Sound is very clear and crisp. Good response. Bass is good, and not too high. Volume is a tad on the lower side, and the cord feels cheap because of how thin it is, but the tip feels high quality. I love the material of the padding, and i'm glad it's not the fake leather that ends up peeling off. These phones are pretty lightweight, so they should be comfortable if I end up wearing them for longer sessions.
These should do nicely for mixing my Garage Band tracks. |
