Deals like this on paper magazines are one reason I haven't switched over to digital delivery. Time being an exception, you can get free digital delivery in addition to your paper subscription from NextIssue, the Time app itself, and via Google Play magazines. In fact, you should check all your magazines on Google Play to see if there are free digital versions for paper subscribers. You HAVE to check using your device (tablet/phone), you can NOT check using the Play web page. It might not be obvious from posts mentioning virtual credit cards, but they are alternate, temporary, credit card numbers tied to an actual normal have in your wallet credit card account. |

You might want to contact them about your order. Go to OP's link, and at the bottom click on 'Help'. |

Update: "Help" section was helpful! I'm in the system with Subscription ID number and correct magazines are listed - Hooray! Thanks again KPS for the advice! Last edited by Memory; 01-13-2013 at 07:47 AM.. |

I've used this to get free magazines for years, and did once forget to call and cancel. I called afterwards, though, and was refunded for the un-mailed remaining issues. You can order magazines you like that you are already receiving, and when you start receiving duplicate issues, go to their website and request they consolidate your subscriptions.
Between this method and Mercury Magazines, I have Money magazine for several years and Entertainment Weekly free until the next decade! Thanks for the post--I thought these BizRate offers timed out and didn't realize the link could be re-used. PS: I went a bit overboard and was drowning in magazines, so transferred some I didn't want to receive anymore to my local hospital. Many institutions, doctor's offices, etc. love to get magazine donations for their patients and waiting rooms. Helping the grammatically challenged, one craigslister at a time. ![]() |

Tip: If your credit card has a feature that creates "one time use" credit card numbers .. use it for this.
I always generate a new CC for this kind of thing, set the expiration date about 4 months in advance (just in case it takes a while for the subs to get charged.) .. If I forget to cancel when it auto-renews, the CC# should be non-existent and get declined. |
