Great deal, 100k points is worth ~1250 via rewards2cash plus can buy $200 gift card for some airlines and get credit = $1450 bonus. any one know if fee is prorated if I cancel in 2-3 months after I get points? If so then fee would only be ~$100 for 3 months = over $1300 net

For any amex cards, if you have had the same card within 12 months , you will not be getting the Signup bonus points. Amex has become very tough on that! Make sure you have'nt had the same product within 12 months before applying! (ie (if you had gold premier don't apply for gold premier again before 12 month, same applies to platinum also)

Have the same as yours, but it has nothing to do with this one. The biz one doesn't provide as much benefits as the true platinum card if you travel.

people are nuts or naive to give such sites their SSN. Even if the site is legit today does not mean that they will not get hacked tomorrow or in 6 years.

No, and I don't know, but I don't trust non-financial institutions enough to do it (Amex already has my SSN through a Rewards card I have with them).
