Buying First Washer and Dryer Combo
Want some advice, didn't know where to put this. I'm moving into a new place soon and was thinking of two options for the washer/dryer.
1) open a BB credit card and purchase a new front load washer/dryer combo for 18 months interest free financing
2) buy used/refurbished from craigslist or local appliance repair shop.
Supposedly front loaders are way more efficient but obviously initial cost will be $1600+ vs top loader basics from craigslist for $500 and under.
In what (very estimated) time frame will the water bill savings be enough to make up for the initial cost differential? Any other advice is appreciated, thanks
