Samsung Galaxy S2 Virgin Mobile $279.99

Anyone have experience with an SII ? We hear all these great things about the SIII, but I have never heard much about the SII. I have an HTC Evo 4G and am pretty happy with it... Worth the switch?

I have an at&t s2 it's a well built device great screen fast CPU and at 269 a great deal

No personal experience, but this phone is much more powerful than the Evo. Plus it uses actual 4g not Wimax. Rumor has it that VM might switch to Sprint's 4g network (much faster than wimax). This is the cheapest I've seen the S2 to this point.

Can this be unlocked and used on T-mobile? Does it use a SIM card?

This phone will only get wimax and not lte.

I'd say not worth it. Look for a sprint S3 for around 300 on CL

the s2 is alright... battery life is its biggest problem...but if you can remember to charge it while you drive then you should be ok...or make sure its on the charger some while you are at work...

my GF went through 4 S2's... each one had a different problem... she gave up and got the note 2

if you are mostly happy with the evo 4g, then I would stick with it and maybe upgrade to the s3 down the road when its super super cheap... bc that would be an upgrade worth while since the s3 is a much improved/polished product vs the s2, evo

No doubt that the S3 is a much better phone. However, the monthly bill that comes along with it is nowhere near the price of Virgin Mobile's prepaid offerings.

Walmart has the SII for $299 (off contract) for T-mobile if you are looking for this phone.
