Costco Membership - Over $50 in Savings - New Members Only

I study the grocery store ads every week and buy the things that are on sale at each one. I use gas websites to find the cheapest gas. I also like using Visa and Mastercard for the points. For someone who comparison shops like me, Costco probably wouldn't be worth it.

I am curious about the travel deals like cruises and rental cars. . .

I know that. I meant the promotion, like free chicken, water, and batteries. I guess we need to submit/buy the membership online and maybe they will honor it.

Thanks. I just opened an account without any issues. They said the coupons will be mailed in 2-3 weeks. Also opened another Amex Card account and upgraded to Executive Gold star. They said the difference of $55 will be credited back within 90 days. This deal is for new members and for this month only. Looks like got a good deal with those coupons and free upgrade. :-)

They didn't offer me that deal for the AMEX or I probably would have done it. Oh well

Since this deal is relating to NEW costco members only:
It is not sufficient to say that people who receive these coupons in the mail are new members like the original post, as the coupons might be part of another promotion eg. employee. However, it is necessary for the person to be new in order to receive the coupons.

It might still be worth it. There are items that are regularly cheaper at costco, so you won't have to ad watch as much, and other types of items besides groceries such as mattresses, furniture, clothes, electronics, most with excellent return policies. If the larger quantities is not an issue, you will probably enjoy it.
