4MyRebate marked as Shipped - 15 days still no Rebate

Rebate was mailed week after Black Friday. Received 12/13.

This is what it shows when I enter in tracking information.

12/16/2012 10:23:34 PM Reward Card processing Confirm. #:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ship Date:12/20/2012

It's been 15 mailing days since that message. Should I have received the rebate by now? Really sick and tired of 4MyRebate's BS.

25th holiday, 1st holiday. Just wait.

yes, sometimes it can take time. but they have been good to me and actually responded to email inquiries.

The rebates are sent bulk mail... the slowest form of delivery available. Wait another week. It's a mess to cancel/stop pay and to request a new payment.

If you still haven't received it I would have them send a new one. I had a handful sent on the 20th and 23rd, and they arrived on the 24th and 29th.

Yeah. The line in your OP is the final status update before you receive the card. Here's one of mine that arrived on 12/24:

Sometimes the ship date is incorrect. It can take up to 3 weeks occasionally to receive the card, after the ship date. If you still haven't received the card within a few weeks, try calling American Express at 1-800-297-7327 and give them the Proxy # (Confirm. #:100000000000000000XXXXXXX) from the rebate tracking page. They will look up the Card, ask you to confirm your name and shipping info, and then send you a replacement card.

It's not 4MyRebate's fault that American Express sucks at delivering the prepaid cards. They just place the orders with the customer's name and shipping info.

I swear, AMEX has the most brain dead customer service reps for the Prepaid (Rewards) Division that anyone can imagine. When I call in to request a refund check, I spend at least an hour and a half per request, and am put on hold several times.

How hard is it to look up the balances of the prepaid cards, de-activate them (push a button), and add them together? That part takes like 30 or 40 minutes, depending on how many card #s I give them. Then, they put me on hold again while they fill out the form with my name, address, contact phone #, and the card numbers and the total refund amount.

If I'm not disconnected at some point during the long hold times, I'll receive a Claim ID #. Sometimes the reps don't even know hot to properly put in the request, and I'll wait the 20 business days and never receive a check. When I call in and ask where my check is, they act like have no record of the claim or it wasn't filled out properly.

That's happened to me 2 times now. I'm kinda irritated with AMEX because I know they want to make it hard on the consumer to request a refund since they get paid a % from the merchant just for running the card. Pretty bogus!
